What we did / Created a fresh and attractive, but easily maintained facility, that is robust enough to withstand the everyday high useage that comes with a busy commercial airport.
Public Toilets are an important facility within any environment, but particularly within an Airport. It was critical that the technical issues were considered at the design stage and not when completed on site.
The design had to be able to travel so that it could be implemented throughout the airport on a ‘as required’ basis and within a quick timeframe.
We used eye catching graphics behind seamless glasspanels. These were both attractive and hygienic. Coved skirting’s were introduced for ease of cleaning and specifications were rigidly complied with to design out vandalism and maintenance. All were considered together with cost and had the simplicity to be repeatable within many sites for male and female alike.
