Project title / Cafe Zest

What we did / Implement the introduction of a Café Zest within a difficult basement site.

Department stores look to their in-store catering outlets to prolong the customers stay within the shop. These outlets are an important contributor to the overall performance of their stores.

Aimed at grazing shoppers who may want a coffee or feel just as comfortable to have a light snack or a full meal, the solution was to use the contemporary design with the initial focus on the servery. Attractive lighting and modern lounge furniture and separate zones of dining height furniture were used.

The result has seen shoppers returning to the café at different times of day and customers dwelling longer in the store.
